Applicants must have a COMMON ADMISSION TEST (CAT 2026) to be eligible for admission to the PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-Business Analytics & PGDM-BFS programs of MDI Gurgaon and PGDM program of MDI Murshidabad. Applicants applying exclusively to the PGDM-IB programme may also apply using GMAT scores obtained from tests taken between 1 January and 28 November 2026 exclusively at a GMAT test centre (not online), as an alternative to CAT 2026 score. Please note that the GMAT score is applicable only for admission to the PGDM-IB programme and cannot be used for admission to other programmes.

MDI Murshidabad will accept CAT-2026/XAT-2027 and valid GMAT score for admission to its PGDM Programme for Indian Students. However, GMAT score is applicable only for Foreign/OCI/PIO/Children of Indian workers in Gulf candidates. For any admissions related queries kindly contact the MDI Murshidabad at 8348021165.
The online application form is common for MDI Gurgaon and MDI Murshidabad.

Note: Please select the programme(s) you wish to apply for. In case you want to apply for only one programme please select that programme and in case you wish to apply for multiple programmes, please select the programmes accordingly.


MDI Murshidabad offers only one programme PGDM for General and Foreign Nationals / Gulf Quota / OCI Candidates.

Please note that the MDI application form is the only source of information about your personal details, academic background and admission related matters. Your failure to provide fully and accurately the information asked for in the application form can prove to be disadvantageous to you. In case of any false/fabricated information about your personal details, academic background, work experience and other admission related matters, your candidature/admission will automatically be cancelled at later/any stage.

It is therefore, advisable that you carefully fill the online application form to ensure that you do not miss out/make mistake in any field applicable to you.

Please note that any change in the details entered by you in the MDI online application form cannot be corrected/changed at any stage during the admissions process and any such request/communication will not be entertained at any stage of the admission process.


You can either select MDI-Gurgaon OR MDI-Murshidabad OR Both. Kindly note that the admission process for both the campuses will be separate.




Online Application will be available till Saturday, 28th November 2026 (till 1700 hrs)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • At least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum 3 years duration for PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-Business Analytics & PGDM-BFSI (Minimum 4 years duration for PGDM-IB), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University recognized by the AICTE / AIU / Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
  • Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) and completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 30th June, 2027 can also apply to the PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-Business Analytics and PGDM-BFSI programmes, subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 31st October, 2027.
  • Applicants to the PGDM-IB programme must possess a minimum of 1 year (one year) work experience as on 31st January 2027, after completion of a minimum 4 years duration Bachelor’s degree for the programme. The candidates with 3 years’ duration bachelor degree are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for PGDM-IB Programme.

Online Application Process

  • The combined online application form for MDI Gurgaon (PGDM/PGDM-HRM/PGDM-IB/PGDM-Business Analytics/PGDM-BFSI) & MDI Murshidabad (PGDM) shall be available on the MDI website https://www.mdi.ac.in/ with necessary instructions.
  • Online registration will be open from Thursday, 24th September 2026, till Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 17:00 hrs.
  • Candidates have to make an online payment of Rs. 3,000 (INR three thousand only) inclusive of 18% GST and can select all the programmes they wish to apply for MDI-Gurgaon
  • Candidates applying for both MDI-G and MDI-M have to make an online payment of Rs. 3,590 (INR three thousand five hundred ninety only) inclusive of 18% GST.
  • NRI Candidates for MDI Gurgaon and Foreign Nationals/ Gulf Quota/ OCI candidates for MDI Murshidabad will have to make an online payment of Rs. 8,496 (INR eight thousand four hundred ninety-six only) inclusive of 18% GST.
  • Candidates applying exclusively for MDI Murshidabad will have to make an online payment of Rs 1000 inclusive of 18% GST.

NOTE: There is a single unified application form for all programmes. Applicants need to select all programmes (PGDM/PGDM-HRM/PGDM-IB/PGDM-Business Analytics/PGDM-BFSI) they wish to apply for in MDI Gurgaon.


The basis for computing the percentage obtained by the candidate would be based on the practice followed by the university/ institution/board from where the candidate has obtained the degree/certificate. In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university/ institution/board from where they have obtained bachelor’s degree/certificate. In case the university/ institution /board does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by MDI by multiplying the obtained CGPA with the factor of 9.5.


Process for NRI, International Students (Foreign Nationals/Overseas Citizen of India/Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries)

NRI and International Students (Foreign Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India, and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf countries) applying to PGDM, PGDM-HRM, or PGDM-IB at MDI Gurgaon, and/or the PGDM programme at MDI Murshidabad, are required to pay an online application fee of ₹8,496 (inclusive of 18% GST).

Applicants may apply on the basis of a valid GMAT score. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for Personal Interviews in April 2027. Admission and determination of candidate status will be governed by the applicable Government of India (GoI) rules and guidelines.

Note for PGDM-IB candidates regarding allocation of Foreign Partner Institution (Emlyon Business School, Lyon, France or ESCP Business School, France).

The Master in Management (MIM) programmes offered by both partner institutions are globally recognized and highly ranked. Students admitted to the PGDM-IB programme at MDI Gurgaon will be allocated to one of the two foreign partner institutions—Emlyon Business School, Lyon, France, or ESCP Business School, France—through a randomized selection process.

Studying At Europe

Students enrolled in this programme will have the opportunity to spend two semesters at their allocated foreign partner institution; emlyon business school, Lyon, France or ESCP Business School, France; both of which offer enriching academic and cultural experiences in the heart of Europe.

The Lyon campus of emlyon business school is renowned for its innovative teaching methodologies and strong industry linkages, providing students with a globally relevant business curriculum in one of France’s most historic cities. Similarly, ESCP Business School operates six urban campuses located in major European cities, actively contributing to the development of a European management culture and offering a unique cross-cultural business education.

Students attending, either emlyon business school or ESCP Business School are not required to pay tuition fees at the host foreign partner institution, provided they complete their academic requirements within one year. However, students are responsible for covering visa fees, visa assistance charges, social security contributions, travel expenses, daily living costs, lodging and boarding, as well as the cost of books and learning materials.

Partner institutions will assist students by providing information regarding available accommodation options; however, students are responsible for making final housing arrangements independently.

Students must have comprehensive health insurance coverage (including medical costs and hospitalization) and personal insurance (covering civil liability, individual accidents, and repatriation) for the entire duration of their academic stay at the allocated partner institution.

Students enrolled in this programme are strongly advised to possess a valid passport (with at least one year of validity) at the time of departure.

IF CAT Test Registration number / CAT User ID is entered incorrectly, the application will be rejected.

“Instances of provision of incorrect information detected at any stage of the selection process will lead to disqualification of the candidate from the selection process. If such instances go undetected during current selection process but are discovered later, the admission of the candidate will be cancelled.”

Instructions for filling the work experience section

The final cut-off date for the work experience is 31st March 2027. Kindly enter your work experience details till the last date of filling the application form i.e 28th November 2026. In case shortlisted you may update your work experience at later stages till the final cut-off date.

  • Work experience certificate on employer letterhead from all employers or any other relevant documents to support the employment claim. For instance, if you have worked with three companies, you must submit three different work experience certificates. The work experience certificate should mention the following details:
    • The name of the organisation
    • Start date of employment
    • End date of employment (not applicable for the current job)
    • Designation during employment. In case you have worked across various designations, the work experience certificate should mention the last designation held. For the current organization, the work experience certificate should have the designation, you are currently holding in the company. In case of non-availability of work experience for the present company, the offer letter with joining date and latest payslip has to be attached.
    • Form 16 from your employer or bank statement with the details of the salary credited for first month and last three months
  • Please combine your work experience documents for each company you have worked and upload the same in a single document in reverse chronological order starting from your latest work experience. The documents uploaded should determine your period of work expereince in the company till the current date. For example, the latest/current work experience document should be uploaded in the Work Experience 1 in the upload document section and so on.
  • The Present Annual CTC has to be mentioned in numbers for example If your present CTC Annually is 2 lacs. Kindly mention the same as 200000.

Note : If the claims made for the employment by the candidate do not conform with the requirements of MDI Gurgaon or if the documents uploaded/Information provided do not match with the document uploaded, the work experience details furnished by the candidate will not be considered for the selection process. Further, if these claims are found to be untrue upon verification at any stage during the admission process, the application of that candidate will not be processed further and may also lead to the cancellation of admission at any stage.
